Clone monitor with two one-port video cards

Is is possible under Windows XP to st up a second monitor as a clone with two one-port video cards?

Ny two cards are from two different manufacturers.
Matrox AGP and Nvidia PCI.

Neither manufacuturer's software seems to support this task.

(I know this is obsolete equipment, but I'm trying to put them to good use rather than in the landfill.)

get a VGA splitter instead

Pretty sure that would work fine under the NV Control panel in XP.
