I have a macbook pro dual boot with vista. I would like to change to a larger HD. I think I can use superduper to clone OSX, is there a way to do both OSX and vista at the same time.
thanks

If you can see the Vista partition, and are using ParagonNTFS then you may be able to SuperDuper the Vista partition.

the vista partition is visible on OSX desktop. I will be using a usb hard drive case for the new hard drive.
thanks,

I was able to superduper OSX to a new HD. I tried to use Bootcamp to reinstall windows and it does not work. After searching, I found that bootcamp beta license have expired and I have to upgrade to Leopard to reinstall windows

Bootcamp FAQ

As indicated in the license agreement for Boot Camp Beta, the Boot Camp Beta program expires when Mac OS 10.5 Leopard becomes available publicly in October, 2007.

Boot Camp Beta 1.2 or earlier expiration
The license to use Boot Camp Beta 1.2 or earlier expires on September 30, 2007 (2007-09-30). Boot Camp Assistant Beta will no longer open after expiration.

To continue using Boot Camp Beta for Microsoft Windows on your Intel-based Mac, you'll need to update to Boot Camp Beta 1.4, until Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard is available.

Boot Camp Beta 1.3, 1.4 expiration
The license to use Boot Camp Beta expires when Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard is available to the public. To continue using Boot Camp at that time, upgrade to Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard.

Important: Apple does not provide technical phone support for using Boot Camp Beta, burning the Macintosh Drivers CD, or installing Windows. Support is available on Apple's website. Fee-based support agreements are not available for Boot Camp Beta.

Make a BartPE Ghost CD (find Ghost 8 32 bit somewhere, aka Ghost32.exe). Boot from that, have a USB drive attached, and you should be good to go - that will image your entire drive. Then splash the image onto your new drive once you've done the swap, and you should be in business. Another way: Acronis TrueImage v10 Home Edition. Certainly there are freeware tools for same, too.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think these tools can grow (resize) both HFS+ & NTFS filesystems.

Although the Boot Camp beta license has ended, I'm fairly certain it's still possible to install Windows without upgrading to Leopard. I'll leave that as a Google exercise for gcy. 🙂

Ah...resize, yes, you're right; you might need something like Ghost + iPartition; it would be interesting to see what the final resolution is to this. 🙂
