Clocking my P4- HOW HIGH DOES IT GO?

Please help! a P4 1.7ghz, on a asus p4t. it goes to 16.0x and from 100 to 156. does that meen if i cool right i would get 2496ghz? at the highest?

Pretty unlikely, that would make your PC one of the highest clocked PCs around (possibly the highest).

I think 2GHz with air or even water cooling would be pretty good

How high does it go? If you throw the CPU or if you launch it with a really big rubber band

I'm getting he vapochill cabinet for it, it keeps the cpu below -10 degree Celsius at working temp... so it would work yeah?

I still don't think it would go that high

Lot of money to spend for a small increase in performance

you should know the whole story, the machine is in a recording studio controll room, wich is 30 dC, so the vapochill cab is essential... but i an't to try anyhow...
