Clock speeds on NV18s

I picked up a 64mb Chaintech GF4 MX440 AGP 8x the other day... not the fastest card in the world, I know, and I'm aware that it lacks DirectX 8 and 9 features, but I got it for an incredible price :D - an incredible price here in New Zealand, anyway. Plus, it was an upgrade from a TNT2, and *anything* is better than that. What I was surprised about was how high the clock speeds went... I've been running for about a day at 375/680 with no problems, no artifacts or BSODs or crashes, while running a multitude of applications, and I'm sure it could go a bit higher. This is with no additional cooling whatsoever, just the card straight out of the box. What makes it even more impressive, in my opinion, is that it's sitting in a cramped AOpen case with no fans whatsoever :Q

I've read reviews of other MX440s on the internet which reached speeds like 320/490... that's a clock speed only a little over my stock, and a memory speed *lower*. I know that manufacturers started using a different manufacturing process when they started making the NV18s and NV28s, but would it account for that much difference? Or could it be because of Chaintech's 'Gas Turbine' technology, which I dismissed as an advertising buzzword? :p Or maybe my speeds are pretty standard or even low, and I just don't know. I have no frame of reference on these things ;)

If anyone else has an AGP 8x MX440, could they let me know what speeds they're getting? I wonder how much further I can push this :p
