Clock radio goes nuts

For some reason my alarm clock radio has been going nuts lately. If I place my hands near it or stand rigth next to it, the static noise goes away. It has been working fine up until this past weekend and there's nothing new placed next to it on my nightstand table. I usually fall asleep w/ the radio on but w/o it, I'm wide awake!

Move the power cord. They usually use the power cord as the antenna for FM.
