Jahooo. I just installed the game. It seems my apu can even run the game at full 1920*1080 resolution. Sure looks nice. I turned it down a bit to be on the save side. I left at 1440 times something.
Now i have to figure out what to do. I was disappointed i could not jump in this game. Looks like a doom3 clone.
The game use AGEIA PhysX. Seems to be tailored for Nvidia gfx cards. :| I guess i will not see any fancy physics. :(
Oh well, as long as the game is fun.

I seem to recall you need to install the legacy physfx drivers for this to work, and you aren't missing out much.

I do wished they had not gave away the clue of the story at the beginning. I really like those games where i start with nothing and while progressing through the game, the story unravels. Right at the start i learn about the first born. I guess there is still a lot of unraveling to do. :)

I guess i do not need it. When that game was released, it was not designed with a quad core cpu in mind. A dual core is recommended so i guess the game is able to make use of a multi core cpu. Since the A10-6700 has 2 modules and every module contains only one FPU, perhaps my A10-6700 acts to the game like a very fast dual core.
That twister right at the start of the game looks very nice. Seeing everything being pulled along.

Well, it is obvious i have been missing out on games. Jericho sure looks nice. The animation videos are just in game animations. Not separate movies.
I am going to have a lot of fun with this game.
And the best part is : Cheat codes. There exists cheat codes for unlimited lives or unlimited ammo. Be like a god in a game.

I have this game. Was considering trying it again now that I have a system that can handle it at its best easily.

I also thought this game was quite fun, but felt the AI could use some tweeking. There are a few spots they sorta "dive in" when they shouldn't and it cant get dang ugly.

It is not as easy as it seems. When starting, i felt i should increase the difficulty level but now i think i will leave it like it is. I am still at the start. But i sure agree, that i would feel a let better if i could force my team members better to lay low until i cleared the area. The AI is indeed way to enthusiastic when it comes to attacking. I press the button to hold position a lot.

I am kind of disappointed. The game gives a very claustrophobic feeling. And the levels seems the same all the time.
The levels are small too and jumping is out of the question. When i read about the name Clive Barker, i was hoping it would be like the undying. Huge levels. All kinds of different settings. Very frightening. And it was a real pc game. Meant for mouse and keyboard. With Jericho i get the impression it was a quick game console port. I played a few levels but it is always narrow passages. Never vast fields.

It's a pretty old game imho.

Well, i am trying to finish the game now. SInce i have now a more powerful discrete gpu , i can turn everything up to max and i use radeon settings to override any in game settings for maximum image quality. I do feel an urge to buy metro last light redux or stalker call of pripyat. This game is very forced.

Last Light was really good. I felt it took all the good things from the first game and made them better.

If you've never played the S.T.A.L.K.E.R games or Metro series, you're missing out.

The only thing I can recommend is you use mods for Stalker - especially Clear Skies. Call of Pripyat doesn't really need mods to work well, but there's still some pretty nasty bugs that were never fixed that have been fixed in fan-made patches.

I just bought the metro redux games (2033 and last light) as a bundle on steam. Both for 29,95.

I will finish Jericho when i feel like playing it.
The visuals are great but the movement and the whole gameplay do not do a Clive Barker Game justice in my opinion.
I hope Clive Barker will have some influence in a new game that is a first person shooter but with total freedom and not as if i am bound to heavy chains while playing like in Jericho.
Imagine a game like Undying based on Unreal4 game engine or IDtech 6 engine.
I think psychiatrists will have a field day with people coming running to them with anxiety because of the scary game. :D

You are wrong. A friend of mine played it, beat it, and enjoyed it all the way through. I still plan to play it.

Yeah it was a bad game. I bought it and played a ways into it then uninstalled it.

I love Clive Barker though!

There is a youtube video where they added all cutscenes one by one if you just want to see the story unravel. It is over an hour long. Almost like a movie.
It is really all the cutscenes that give the game something to long for.
