Maybe they aren't aware that it looks disgusting.

For instance, I would take my top/bottom retainer out of my mouth in front of my coworkers so I could eat lunch. I had somebody tell me that people were getting upset because it looked dirty. I'd do the same at the dinner table and when I would go to restaurants. Now, I excuse myself and go to the bathroom to take out my retainers.

Yup, it's lame. It doesn't bother me except that I think it is extremely rude because I know there are lots of people that are disgusted by it.

I'd support chopping off their fingers as a just punishment.

i don't see the disgusting / gross part of it, but that *pflink**pflink* clipping sound is pretty much nails on a chalkboard to me.

any personal grooming should be done in your bathroom in the confines of your own home.

Doing those types of things at work makes you look like a scumbag.

Story:
Guy I worked with used to do this at his desk every week, I fucking hated it. One time I decided to walk over and say something to him about it... he had taken his shoes and socks off and was cutting his TOENAILS at his desk.

not joking.

WTF. He couldn't do that at his house? Nuts.

I saw a Chinese guy spit on the floor in an office building one time. That was nasty.

Instead of taking it off in the bathroom, maybe you should, I don't know....CLEAN it?

clipping fingernails or microwaving a fish at work should be termination events.

the nail clipping doenst gross me out its the tiny sound of clip, clip, clip, clipclip, clip that i find extremely distracting and the sound instantly pisses me off because its very inconsiderate.

That's nasty. Those things go flying like .22's and you can hear them land all over, and are thankful you did not get one in the eye... except for when you do, or feel something wet hit you in the face, because they were biting their nails moments before they decided to get the clipper out.

Who even brings a nail clipper to work anyway? Or dental floss sticks? I see those in parking lots sometimes, I can't imagine how it even ended up there. Do people floss in the car on the way to work or something? lol. I tend to do toiletry stuff at home and only at home.

I clip mine at work when I need to

also I clip them at my house, and its never done in the bathroom

also I assume they vacuum where you work and you wear shoes. so...
