Clinton speaks on Iraq, Al Queda, and proper actions: Updated with full Interview

Clinton speaks

This should end all the "Clinton supports the Iraq War" crap.

"Who's the threat from? Iraq? Saddam Hussein? No, from bin Laden and al-Qaeda," he said, adding that the U.S. only learned of the threat from Pakistani intelligence.

"Why did we put our number one security threat in the hands of the Pakistanis with us playing a supporting role, and put all of our military resources in Iraq, which I think at best was our number five security threat?

"How did we get to the point where we got 130,000 troops in Iraq and 15,000 in Afghanistan?"

Clinton said the absence of a peace process in the Middle East, the conflict between India and Pakistan and their ties to the Taliban, and North Korea and its nuclear program all posed greater threats than Iraq.
==============================================

There should be a "Revert Clause", that when an Administration fails as miserably as the current one that they be immediately revoked and the last adminstration be put back in until the next Election.

Everytime there is warning of a terror threat linked to al Qaeda issued, I wonder why the US invaded Iraq. Why did Bush divert resources from finding the people who attacked the US to Saddam who was essentially under the US's control?

We'll never know the REAL reason unfortunately. All we'll ever know is the giant Lie WMD.

He wasn't "misinformed", there was plenty of doubt of the veracity of the Intel to warrant caution.

Thank you GW for taking out this horrible vicious dictator that was a threat to the US, now lets turn back to Osama, and smack down Iran while we are at it.

Why Syria? Why not Detroit?!?! Hell, they're in Shaq's new South Beach pad! We can't turn back to Osama until we get out of Iraq. And you want Iran too, eh? Hell, let's just take Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Libya, Sudan, Yemen, Chicago, Salt Lake City and Toledo!!!

I hate to say this but I agree with Clinton.

After 9-11 I would have pulled all of the troops out of Saudia Arabia. There is such a thing as too much foreign intervention. The Arabs and Muslims just do not like outsiders.

Al-Quida on the other hand is like a giant cancer or disease infecting the free world. If it is ignored it will infect every country on earth.

I saw a documentary on North Korea last night and I think the free world should cut off all humanitarian aid to these crazy people in North Korea. They have brainwashed everyone into beleiving that south korea and the US actually invaded north korea. They teach their people constantly to blame the US for all their troubles. Their propaganda machine is fanatical. For such a small country they have a standing army of over 1 million soldiers. That is probably more than almost any coutry in Europe. They are so bad that when the electricity goes out that they say "Those Damn Americans". The whole piece was like a political commercial for Anti Americanism.
