it's called respect. the elder bush is way older and prolly in worse shape. i think it's just repectful to let the weaker have some comfort.

this would mean that Kerry would have gotten the bed if such a situation would have arose frome the last election. 😛
 
Bush is an old man who was shot down in the Pacific during WWII.

Clinton smoked weed and got his dick sucked in the White House.

Both great presidents IMO....but the ancient fighter pilot deserves the bed, and Bill's probably used to sleeping on the floor anyway (whenever Hilary's pissed).
 
Bush is old but it was pretty nice of him to do so since he just had a heart bypass...
Heck, the floor isn't so bad for a night as long as you got a few blankets to throw down under you...
 
Remember that article about how CNN is supposedly going down the crapper? I suspect it has more to do with the belief that this is news than left and right issues. But don't let that stop you guys wetting yourselves over the idea that people are fed up with the "librah media".

This is just the natural thing to do in a situation like this. It's like if you had a room with 1 bed, 1 couch and there was an old man, a young woman and a young man. Of course the woman gets the bed, the old guy gets the couch and the young guy, well...He'll just have to sleep on the floor. It's just how things are.
