Clinton: Most Truthful Candidate with Enthusiastic Supporters

He'd go for the tax cuts first & the current Congress would likely oblige him. It's not like any President can unilaterally abrogate any trade agreements, either. It's bullshit.

Sure it is bullshit, just like Sanders plan. But that is what is he selling.

Clinton is the most truthful one running this cycle, IMO.

You can say that with Bernie Sanders running? For fuck's sake, none of these asshats have a shred of credibility when stacked up against Bernie. He is the ONLY one of them worth voting for. He was AGAINST the Iraq war when it mattered. Hillary was FOR it when it mattered.

His answer seems to be the bernie sanders answer. Build an economic wall of isolationism around this country to artificially raise wages.

You are aware that trump thinks American workers are paid too much right? You are aware that trump likes trade, he just think the trade agreements we have aren't good for us.

Hopefully you aren't a trump supporter because I can't imagine a trump supporter who isn't even aware of their candidates policy positions.

There is an implicit lie in his campaign, which is that he can get anything he believes in passed through any Congress, Democrat or Republican.
He was AGAINST the Iraq war when it mattered.
So was Trump. Who cares?

The thing with Bernie, his supporters love a rally but not so much the voting booth.

There is zero data to suggest that any significant number of people are supporting Bernie Sanders in rallies but then not even bothering to show up to vote.

If they don't vote it's probably because they didn't register in time or their party affiliation magically changed somehow.

Having enthusiastic supporters is one possible reason why he does better in caucus states, although not the only one.

That's objectively true but it doesn't matter to the boneheads.

Them: Can't trust Hillary!

Me: Why not?

Them: Because of all the accusations!

Me: Which of those are true?

Them: Can't trust Hillary! We jes' know it!

There is an implicit lie in his campaign, ?

So the OUTRIGHT lies of all the other scumbag candidates are somehow better than an IMPLICIT lie? WTF is an implicit lie anyways? That is utter horseshit. Why are you dissing Sanders like that? Is the only person left of moderate in this entire race. Are you some kind of closet conservative?

I explained to you. You want to ignore the fact that Sanders can't deliver on anything he's selling, that's fine.
Here is a prime example for you, Obama vs Clinton in 2008 debating health care:
Obama:

Clinton:
https://youtu.be/6dYrscErXdI?t=453

Obama bashing Clinton for supporting an individual and employer insurance mandate in 2008. What actually ended up in Obamacare? Who was really more honest there? Hillary or Obama? I am voting for real feasible outcomes, not what Bernie thinks should happen in his fantasy world. Clinton is far more honest about reality than Bernie.

How can you trust a candidate who'll say anything to win an election?

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O3iBb1gvehI

She is the only candidate from either party who is running on a platform that isn't from fantasyland. She's the one who is actually 'telling it like it is', unlike Sanders, Cruz, or Trump.

You can't have $20 trillion tax cuts for rich people without destroying our government.

You can't have health care for everyone without paying for it.

And so on.

Obama couldn't even pass a public option to compete with private insurance with a Democrat House, and a filibuster proof Democrat Senate. But Sanders is being "honest" when he is promising universal single payer that would eliminate private insurance with at best a slight (filibustered) Democratic majority in the Senate, and likely a Republican House due to the Gerrymander? Living in the real world is a prerequisite for being honest about it.

Hell, the only reason she's even running is to evade the sniper fire. Same reason she heroically hosted all her official business on her own server in the basement - everybody knows that snipers sneak in through government servers. And that's why the Clinton Family Foundation showed no donations from foreign governments and corporations while she was SecState but amended its tax returns to show tens of millions in donations - to throw off the sniper. She's really really honest, she just has to deal with snipers that other people don't have to deal with. And, um, can't see.

Vote Hillary Clinton - She's Steady Under Fire.

She's been pretty steady under the "sniper fire" repubs have been shooting at her and her husband for over twenty years...but then they seem to be shooting blanks.🙂

They are Teflon, true, but then so was Reagan.

It's been roughly four months since the Hildabeast has even held a real press conference. If you want to know why she's been so honest lately, it's because she's only answering questions she directed be asked.

Just keep voting Republican. It's gonna trickle down any time now.

That hasn't seemed to be a problem for all the repubs candidates though, has it?

It doesn't matter. This election season isn't about facts, it's about appealing to people's base instincts. For trump supporters it's about fear and hate (in world that's changing around them). For Bernie supporters it's about hope and big ideas and achieving what they thought Obama was going to give them when they voted for him. For hillary supporters it's about getting back to a functional government in Washington. For Cruz supporters it's about getting any republican elected besides trump.

Damn you!

You said something that I 100% agree with, you bastard!

🙂

Hey, I'm doing fine. It trickles down to me just fine.

Everyone except Trump has to hold pressers to catch up to Trump, and Trump has never met a microphone he didn't like. But it's also very illustrative what was posed earlier about Sanders, when his health care costs claim was rated totally false with the proviso that the same claims had been made by Clinton - only Factcheck et al hadn't bothered to investigate those claims when she made them. The "fact checkers" have their own agenda too.

I am glad you survived the hardship of Clinton years to reach the promised land.
Clinton years were just fine for me too. I got a practical education in a marketable subject, I make a median salary, and I live a practical, moderate lifestyle, not particularly frugal but within my means. The secret is working hard and living within one's means rather than demanding that I'm a special snowflake that other people need to support in the lifestyle to which I'd like to be accustomed simply because I exist. Nobody owes me anything, and since government cannot do anything for me without first taking the means from someone else, I want nothing personally from government.

Clinton: Most Truthful Candidate with Enthusiastic Supporters

Nope, not buying it. Not for a minute.

I've seen Sanders rallies and I've seen Clinton's; those tell you all you need to know about "enthusiasm".

And as for truthfulness, please.

Fern

Sure you don't. But in any case, Hillary is the only one running whose plan is even remotely close to "living within one's means."
