Clint Eastwood is Bombing

He comes across as slightly senile to me (sad because I like his movies. True master craftsman at his trade (directing movies).

May excite the base in convention center, but don't know how he sets the table if Romney is really going to try and rotate to the center with tonight's speech.

Is this going to be as disjointed as Tuesday was?

I just said to my wife that this is almost painful to watch. I ws really looking forward to Clint too. Hope he swings things around as the nerves wear off.
 
An old man rambling nonsense to a chair. Was this the mystery that we were waiting for? It looked like Clint was wondering what the hell he was doing up there, so maybe it was a mystery to him too.

Quite possibly the most bizarre convention speech I've ever seen. Truly terrible, Romney must be furious.

Is it online? of course I knew better than to watch any of this silly convention. I think john stewart showed me all I needed, but it sounds like this would be fun to watch. What's next, chuck norris?
 
You guys do know that most of Clint's speech was ad-libbed, don't you?

Excellent speech. The libruls in this thread have Librul Butthurt Syndrome as usual, because Clint has more testosterone than every "male" in the Democratic party combined.

Seriously. A couple of veteran speech writers could used Clint to deliver some truly killer lines only he could have gotten away with.

Huge opportunity missed for them with that.

Overall it's the same problem that plagues Mitt - pander to the base and not state the case to the nation....

These two men are not stupid - even if I disagree with them - but they've played to the base crowd... and the base keeps sinking lower and lower....
