wish that were true....sadly the goit is probably planning on hooking it up to a 37in LCD....heh

my forecast for the 11th is the GT and NU (or equivelants with different monikers)......but, im guessing they might whip out a 512MB GTX too....

edit: hmm, or they might have come up with something new for SM3.....

Actually this particular client owns two Samsung 400P's. 40" LCD TV. One of them is attached to this system, the other is mounted on a garage door style arched base in his master bedroom so that it can either be positioned on the wall itself or on the ceiling above the bed.

Someday I want to be able to spend as frivolously as some of the people who buy my services.

Prices are not going to drop on the 11th. I can't tell you what is going to be released on the 11th, but if you want to head on over to TheInq.net, they mention what will be unveiled at QuakeCon.

If your client wants a 7800GTX, just get it for him now. Prices are more than likely not moving until NVIDIA has some competition with ATI's next-gen cards, and those are going to be a while considering that CrossFire apparently won't even hit the market until September.
