I have had this car for a little over 8 months and just started noticing that when I press the clutch pedal down, I feel and hear a clicking/popping sound coming from it. This even happens when I am sitting still and even have the car turned off.

Any insight on what this might be? normal or not?

Does it click once every time you depress the clutch pedal or is it continuous clicking?

It's probably the sensor telling the ignition that the clutch is pressed if it's clicking while the car is off.
