Clicker Heroes

I played that one for a bit. One of the better idle games out there, but I I've been trying to get away from the genre. It was taking away too much time from games I actually wanted to interact with. It was easier to get away from Clicker Heroes since I had just achieved one of the bigger goals (Level 100, not even that big a deal for the people dedicated to it), and the next was so far away.

But the draw of minimal engagement for much bigger numbers can certainly be a hard one to deny. Especially when you find yourself with less time than usual to dedicate to the hobby.

I just finished the Moon on Adventure Capitalist, and once I'm done with the current event I'll be uninstalling it. Hopefully I can stay away from these games for a bit. I need to make numbers bigger elsewhere, notably DA:O.

Nah, i played something similar called "Tap tap infinity" which was extremely similar but in 3D, for long term appeal they need end game stuff which Timer Clickers does a good job of, so I leave that running almost 24/7

I'm also playing Adventure Capitalist which is a fun clicker/management game, and also cookie cliker got a massive update a few months ago so I resumed that, that also has a better end game now.

So it is a different kind of game for sure. I just let it idly build gold, then spend all that gold on as many upgrades as I can afford, and then beat the next boss. So my play sessions are only a few minutes at a time. I love seeing how much gold I can come back to when I let it sit for hours and hours at a time. It's not actually taking up any of my normal game time at all.

How about Candy Box? It's not a clicker game but it's something similar. I've basically reached the endgame on both Clicker Heroes and Cookie Clicker multiple times.
