Clicked on wrong drive

I was running a diagnostic on a few hard drives and I clicked on the wrong drive to erase it. What is the best if any program to get that data back?

Exactly how did you erase it?

I once erased the first few thousand bytes of my hard drive with Cygwin, and had to rebuild both my MBR and my partition table. I lost the first partition but I was able to get the rest back with a combination of the Windows install disk and some Linux utilities under Knoppix.

I erased it with the WD data lifegaurd program. It allows you to run extended tests and to run a full or quick format. I ran a full.
