yeah, thats because production costs are so much higher....

regardless of wether your care about the earth or not, its worth the price just for your health. Organic foods mean no hormones, antibiotics or fertilizers.....

to me that's worth the extra cost personally.

For some reason organic milk is REALLY expensive, but other organic products such as vegetables are not so high. not sure why this is though.

Yes, i too purchase their milk. We started about 2 years back, but I think its worth it. I would rather spend more money on better quality, more natural, and safer foods than spend it on something relatively immaterial like a nice polo shirt. I think the milk comes out to about exactly double the price of normal size milk in gallons, but again, its worth it to my family.

in any case, the click doesn't hurt any.

thats not what I mean... I know Why its more expensive

What I meant was that them mark up is so much more on milk compared to other organic products.... so I guess its just that much harder to do

oh well thats ok...

cant set a price on your health... 3.50 sure isnt going to break me.

the thing that baffles me is that even regular milk costs $2/gallon and gas costs what, $0.75/gallon before taxes

yeah, that is seriously lame..

probably the 'truest' american little guy farmers are organic.....

oh well, your probably either joking, or ignorant, and dont realise that the big 'american' farms are just corporations that would gladly import their food from another country and sell it here if it would be cheaper.

i cant stand milk.
its interesting ive seen a few tv clips recently that talk about milk.
They say like the human body hasnt adapted to milk at all because
we just learned to pastroize it what..~100-200 years?, and its
like a poison to the body.. I thought it was funny and interesting at the same time.

that seems kind of odd... even unpasterized people drank milk from other animals for thousands of years now..... also we make our own milk

interesting though....

... he's probably just bitter about being lied to most of his life.

This was the first product that I tried that was organic. Tastes A LOT better than Knudsen or Altadena & the other Major brands sold in grocery stores. Don't drink much milk these days but when I do, its this brand. REgular w/extra fat!

I started buying this milk two weeks ago and noticed a better taste than the corporate farm milk I traditionaly purchased. I encourage all individulas to ignore the price difference and at least try it. This grass roots american farming that is rapidly disappearing.

[Jedi Mind Trick]Antiboitics, fertilizer, and hormones etc, are good for you[/Jedi Mind Trick]

My friend was in the militrary for his 2 years quite a few years ago, until last year he had been sick a single day after serving, and last year he got a the flu for 2days, the rest of the office was out for about a week. He keeps telling me the government antibiotics, wahtever else they gave him is the greatest stuff on earth, at which point I ask him how that second nose is workin out.

But seriously not getting sick for 10-15 years that some seriously scary stuff they are pumping into the soldiers.

How much of the $3.50 goes back to the organic farmer? Around here, most of the milk is pretty close to "organic"... and our cost is $2 per gallon.....

(I live in a rural farming area)
