So I am coming into town next weekend.. .I am staying with a person I would like to date and i need to plan something speciall. Something with some thought and effort into it..

Can anyone give me any Cleveland date ideas..

You have to have some idea of what you want to do...

What side of town are you going to be on?

Are you over 21?

PS: Canton is pretty far from Cleveland.

We are both over 21.. She lives in Westlake I think?

I dont know something creative.. I am guessing utlimately i need a ncie restaurant... Any good Italian (non-chain) places? Classy...

I have the place for you......Nino's, on Center Ridge Road in N.Ridgeville...head west on C.Ridge from Westlake, it will be on your right just after you pass the intersection at Barton Rd.

Head into Downtown and catch a baseball game or something. Have dinner at Great Lakes Brewery or Lolas in Tremont.

Lots of cool clubs in the warehouse district on top of the flats.

Go down to EdgeWater and watch the sunset...

Lots of cool things to do...

There is a VERY nice restaurant called NEMO's Grille in Avon. It is very new and fairly pricey but it is a full service classy place. It is small and quaint and would be great for that 'special' date (that rhymed 🙂).

It is on Detroit Rd in Avon (only about 10-15 minutes west of Westlake).

Good Luck

Edgewater is no good...Huntington beach is where you want to go..take 90W to Columbia, take Columbia North to Lake Rd, head West on Lake, beach complex will be on your right...

Nemo's is a good place - I know the owner's brother. Close to Nino's (from my previous post) is on, just about 3 or 4 miles further West.

Both are good places - Nino's is a quieter place, Nemo's is newer.

C-town!

Huntington beach is definitely better than edgewater. It is part of our 'metro-parks' system which is kept quite nice. After dinner and beach, you may want to check out Dave and Busters in Westlake (right off I90). Great way to finish the night.

I always thought that the best reaturants, the hip ones, were all in the Tremont neighborhood of Cleveland. Thats where I would go, check out Cleveland's citysearch pager.

Be careful though, most of the city isn't too nice.

If you decided against Italian, there's always that restaurant right at Edgewater, what's that called... is that Don's Lighthouse? Sorry, haven't lived in Cleveland for a few years now. I second the flats for after-dinner though, always lots of good times.

Yeah Don's Lighthouse is alright.

Tremont is very cool. Lola's for dinner. Then stop at the Treehouse for drinks... Very nice area in the Spring.

Michael Symon is the chef at Lola's. Very cool menu.
