Good for her...

SOUTH EUCLID, Ohio (AP) -- A woman who claimed that she bought and lost a $162 million lottery ticket was found guilty Tuesday of filing a false police report. She was fined $1,000 and ordered to perform 50 hours of community service.

Elecia Battle, 41, of Cleveland, also was ordered to pay $5,596.71 in restitution for police overtime, security and other costs related to the case.

"I have not been defeated. I'm victorious," Battle said after the sentencing. "I still turned out as a winner."

Uhm, no.. You lost. Over $6000 and 50 hours of your life.

If you would have won, you would have $162 million and you don't.

WTF?

If you remember, she had claimed that she was going to use some of the millions to help out some cops who had recently been laid off. Maybe her victory is that she has been provided the opportunity to pay overtime to those who weren't laid off.

Or maybe the victory is that she is indigent and won't pay any of that money anyway.

Some folks are too ignorant to know they are ignorant.
