Clerks 2

pontifex

Lifer
Yeah, yeah, welcome to 2006...

This was pretty damn funny. The scene about Pillowpants was focking hilarious.

Great movie... although some people said they don't like it 🙁.

Pillowpants was indeed one of the funnier scenes in the movie.

Meh.... Too much of a "I need some more money" movie. On its own, it would probably be alright, but it was aweful in comparison to Clerks.

I thought it sucked.

Same here.

Are MallRats and Clerks related? The pothead duo was in both movies.

Clerks, Clerks 2, Mallrats, Chasing Amy, Dogma, and Jay & Silent Bob Strike Back are all part of Kevin Smith's "View Askewniverse." They are loosely related by common characters, actors, locations, etc.

Then there's lone Jersey Girl lol.

When I watch a comedy, I really don't care about the plot.
Clerks 2 was one of the funniest movies I've seen. The jokes were original (or at least, I've never heard of pillowpants before, etc.) I wasn't the only person in the theater with tears in my eyes from laughing so hard. The pinnacle, when Dante pulls up to the restaurant, sees the smoke inside and says "oh no, not again" and calls the fire department. lmfao when the fire department shows up and they're inside watching the donkey show. Laughing even harder at "forgive me Jesus!"

Clerks 2 was one of the funnier movies I saw last year, but compared to some of the other movies...well J&SBSB was just a little funnier....😀

All I have to say is that you should watch this. It's probably funnier that the whole movie was:

Do you really expect the Brits to get American pop culture references? I certainly do not get the British pop culture references on Top Gear...I can't say I totally disagree with his review. But I went into Clerks II not expecting a whole lot and ended up enjoying it. It was nothing like the original, much more of a traditional Hollywood formula comedy, but I do like Kevin Smith's humor and dialogue.
