The point is that the man is old enough and should be mature enough how to handle disappointment. This isn't about race, it's about an individual not knowing how to behave. Kind of like when that guy from Rage climbed on top of that prop to protest not winning some award a few years back.
And from a purely pragmatic standpoint, it is stupid for celebrities to make partisan comments about politics because they're potentially alienating 50% of their audience. With Kanye's finances in such a precarious situation because of this album, I'm seriously questioning his judgment. But I guess any backlash he receives is worth it just so he could tell America he thinks Bush doesn't care about black people.
