Clearance IP35-E at frys YMMV

manimal

Lifer
Just got a IP35E for 79 Bucks no rebate at the frys in Indianapolis. They had about a dozen in the back and a few in the front. Their techs-I use that term loosely- said they were the worst boards they ever had and tried to convince me to not get one lol

YMMV if it hasnt hit clearance in your area yet.

Stocks in S Cal have depleted to one per store two weeks ago. Also clearance item at $80. Glad these have a bad reputation @ Frys. Perhaps NewEgg will unload these below $50.

I have been eyeballing this board for a new system I hope to build over the holidays. It is tempting to run down to Frys and see if they have one in stock.

This is $10 cheaper than the Egg, although given that sales tax will be a few $ more than shipping, the prices difference is even closer.

I am hoping that the Egg may put another $30 rebate on this card like they did at the end of November, but I am not sure if the odds are too good.

Of course they are when they have those killer ECS mobo/cpu deals!

LOL

my friend calls ECS motherboards Extremely Crappy Poop, without the poop insert own expletive.

Just came back from the City of Industry store. It seems all they stock are the ECS mobos. Didn't see any of these Abits on the shelf.

I don't think we will see any more deep discount rebates on the IP35-E with the IP35-V out now.

Probably with a rebate... speaking of which... My rebate from Mwave is approved, but the one from Newegg is MIA. :| Both are for the IP35-E and both for $20.

Same here on the Newegg purchased rebate. I had to call them at (510) 623-0500 (toll call) to confirm they received it. I still does not show up on Abit's Rebate Tracking.

None in stock in the Austin, Texas store.

For all of you wishing for a Frys, don't feel bad. Once you have a Frys in your state, you have to pay sales tax on your purchases at Outpost.
You may save $10 here and there, but dealing with the parking, the lines, and the crummy return process is not fun. Unless I am
going to save a minimum of $10, I'll go with the Egg or other reputable online dealer.
