Clearance at Staples

The local stores (two in Tallahassee) have had very different stuff on clearance in each store. One had a bunch of Logitech mice/trackballs <g>. A lot of scanners. Two Epson Stylus Color 1160 for $250. each. A Xerox C6 for $30. Got a 3dfx Voodoo 3/3000 for $50. Etc. You really need to drop by often to see what's out there. The stores here also have clearance bins in one of the back aisles. Don't know about elsewhere.

I'm in Canada and I know all the ones here also had items on clearence.
Oddly enough much of the same items??
they looked refurbished though as most things weren't in packaging or anything
just a thought.
 
Staples screws you out of your rebates if you do too many. Staples now owns Office Max and has a controlling interest in Office Depot. They are forming a monopoly. Staples is suck. Shop somewhere else if you can.

This is 100% true, especially when you claim your rebate with a COPY of UPC which they insist they will accept for rebate. Every time I sent with a copy of UPC for rebates, they always rejected. But once you call them and bitch with them, they reopen your rebate request and then honor your rebate.
 
My local staples by my house have those fingerprint scanner at the clearance tables for $50. The have like the 15gig maxtor drive there too and I thought they will be like $50 bux or so, nope they are at $80 the regular prices. Oh well I'll guess I check again next week.

you guys just have bad luck staples rebates have been by far the easiest to claim for me they all have come within a timely manner (under 4 weeks) and Ive only used copys of the upc.
Staples is great IMHO for rebates on one rebate it only took them 2 weeks to get it to my house 🙂
 
I have also had good results on Staples rebates. I had no idea Staples or anyone would accept a &quot;copy of the UPC&quot;. Glad to hear they will.
