We have fibreglass screens for our windows around the house, problem is, a lot of no-see-ums have been getting inside and so we're ready to change them out. However, we'd like to get a lot more light into the room and so we were wondering where we could purchase some fibreglass screens that aren't covered in that black vinyl but some sort of clear coat so that more light can come in which will be very important as we're going from the standard 16X18 I believe to 20X20 or even 20X30 patchwork.

Available in charcoal means that charcoal is an available color, not the only color.

GOOGLE IT.

There are places that sell special screening material to let more light in but every one I've seen is ridiculously expensive. Only places I've seen them available are special order at Home Depot and Lowe's. The thing is though that the screen alone on such a small window won't even help that much. It's only going to be half of the window. Not even worth it and probably won't even make a difference since it's so small.
