Cleanup

This may seem like an unlikely subject for the General Hardware forum, but it's the closest that I could find to my question. Not being too tidy, I keep my vacuum cleaner right next to my desk, so that I can cleanup regularly, with little effort. But since it gets in the way, I thought it would be handy to change the plugin on an 12V auto vacuum that I have, so that I could plug it into my UPS. However, looking at the the vacs paperwork, it says to never use it when the engine is running on the car. It's not clear what the problem would be. I don't really care if it would damage the vac, but would I be risking the UPS or any of the hardware attached to it?

Why on earth would you do this to begin with? Lol, I would say to be safe not to do that.

your question is redundant, because my question should be clear enough.

While you may be correct, this thread asks for a response slightly more than a subjective opinion. I have those myself and that is why I'm asking the question in the first place.
