Cleaning mice

So one of my mice has developed a double-clicking problem. Single clicks sometimes misinterpreted as double clicks.

How to fix this?
 
How easy it is to get inside the mouse depends on the particular model. Generally speaking though, the screws are hidden under the teflon feet on the bottom of the mouse. Carefully peel those off and you should be able to unfasten some screws and remove the top housing. At that point you should be able to get at the button mechanisms with some alcohol swabs or whatever.
