Cleaning LCD panels

Help I used some paper towels to clean my 2005fpw, but I can't seem to get some of the streaks off and they are probably permanent. They arent noticable when displaying text or video, only when the monitor is off so its not a big deal. What should i use to clean this and other monitors in the future?

Thanks!

Those micro fiber cleaning cloths that comes with the cheap glasses kits work great. If you must use a paper towel, make sure they are very soft napkins. Hopefully of a type that doesn't leave much fibers. If you're using a cloth, again make sure it's a really soft cloth.

I use damp(water) paper towels all the time with no ill effect but I am very careful. The paper towels are some name brand(Bounty?) from Sam's.

Alright i'll try damp really worn out soft cotton undershirts. And if I find a microfibre cloth i'll pick one up. Thanks for the replies.

I use Kleenex tissues dampened with water and use them gently on the screen. Even Kleenex can scratch if you rub hard.

Remember, LCD screens are some form of plastic and can scratch easy.
