Cleaning inside of computer

How would I go about cleaning the inside of a computer? It has become pretty dusty in there and now, yes after all this time, want to do something about it.

What's the best and recommended approach?

Thanks.

Compressed air in a can. You can get a 6 pack at Sams club for ~$15. If it's really dusty, I would recommend taking it outside and blowing the hell out of it.

If it is really dusty, take it outside. Get a vacuum and a can of compressed air, and blow the air for a couple seconds, then suck up all the dust that came out of the case. Just do that repeatedly. If it isn't that dusty, just take the compressed air to it a couple times in your house.

The suggestion to take it outside and blow it out is the best idea. Using compressed air like a small air compressor. A ball inflator will do. Just use the nozzle in the tight areas and watch the dust bunnies fly.
