That should work fine. What's important is that you use a clean rag with no residue on it. Personally, I like to use Stoner's Invisible Glass, which works great on most surfaces and is available in most auto parts stores.

Man, that sounded like an ad.

Just suck most of the excess dust with a vacuum cleaner to get rid of the heavy stuff first. If you are going to just start spraying the inside with a can of air that is not a very good way to clean out a PC.

Helps to keep people from going near or even touching a LCD/LED TV/MONITOR. I have a TV in my dining room and I keep it in the corner away from the table. I may try one of your cleaners. The thing is they are coated with something and you don't want to take that off.

When it comes to cleaning LCD screens I usually just follow the direction given in most manuals which is to use only plain water and a very soft cloth.
I use a microfibre cloth supplied with my glasses and just dampen it in warm water and have never had an issue with damaging the non reflective coating applied to the screen.
