Clean Your Fan Filters - Friendly Reminder

Last night I pulled out the front fan filter on my case and cleaned off all the dust and dirt, which turned out to be a pretty fair amount. Figured I'd remind everyone else who hasn't done that in a while. Kudos to those who do it on a regular basis! You're a better geek than I! 😉

Yeah, especially now that you can finally OPEN A WINDOW! More crap to get sucked into the filter, but it sure feels nice to have fresh air!

I hadn't open that particular case since last year. I got it working just the way I wanted it and let it go from there. I'm too poor to upgrade anything in it either.

Thanks for the reminder. Last night I noticed my harddrive temperatures were a bit high. The filter is full of dust.. 🙂

I've got a couple boxes on the floor due to limited desk space so dusting frequently is ritual habit perforce.
