Clean DVD's How???

Pghpooh

HI
I've been checking out dvd's from the local library. As always, they are dirty, scratched, etc.
What do you use to clean the disks??? I.ve been using alcohol wipes and they do a good job. As for the scratches,,, I've heard there are disk cleaners that will remove minor scratches, etc.
What do you recommend???
Thanks

+1. Remember to work in straight lines center to outside, not in circles. Used this to fix many many disks over the years.

It has to be the white toothpaste, just your regular stuff. None of this special stuff, that's smoother. It needs to be "gritty".

I've cleaned/repaired probably hundreds of CD's this way like 10 years ago, it worked very well.
