Clean computer insides??

Not a very technical question but I guess I need to hear from "The sanitation technicians". Yes that is with tongue in cheek!

How often should I open up the tower and clean and vacuum fans, lint and such. Wife has the house done every two weeks but I am not going to do puter that often.

I like to use a can of compressed air maybe twice a year. Any more then that not much really there to clean.

Seems to do it for me but if you have an unusual amount of fans or enviroment is real dusty wouldn't hurt anything to do it more often.

Can of compressed air is safer than vacuuming. Take it outside and blow it out. Around every 6 months like Daniel.

NOTE: Never allow the fans to free spin when you blow compressed air through them. You'll overspeed the fans and damage the bearings. Hold the fan in place with a finger or a plastic straw.
