since i have been messing in my bios often lately i came to notice that my 3000+ is not a newcastle like i thought, but a CG clawhammer with 512k cache. have you guys seen many of these and how do they compare to the 1meg clawhammers and the 754 newcastles? although it is a 3000+ clawhammer its clocked at 2ghz with a 10x mult, and cpuz says it is revision sh7-cg stepping a.

512k cache on a CG? I thought it was 1 mb. At any rate it should compare very nicely to other A64's.

That was indeed the difference between the old 3200+ and old 3000+. They were both Clawhammers at 2GHz, just the 3000+ had 512K cache.
