Pissing in a parking garage... not cool.
Flipping cars... not cool.
Throwing stuff at michigan fans... not cool...

Yelling at the michigan band... don't see what the issue is... they do it up there.
Carrying unopened beer cases around.... wtf is the issue.

I wasn't at the game in 02, but was in 04, and it was nothing like that video. I even rushed the field, and all they cared about was the goal posts. I just don't think this video is fair.

Dude, I have never hid the fact that I am a Michigan fan. Any search of my posts on this forum would confirm that a million times. And I don't think I am better than anyone.

The question I posed was simple enough: Is this type of behavior acceptable?

How is it not fair? The former vice president of OSU hired the camera crew. He didn't just do it arbitrarily. There must have been something that caused him to document this.

of course not, a lot has changed since '02 though. There are plain cloths cops everywhere, though i can't gurantee nothing will happen when we beat michigan this year:D.

...and young adults chanting shortly after the game, "We want to riot."

So a bunch of drunk college students get together, and the result isn't pretty? Well that certainly is surprising.

BTW, I've been to my share of Duke/UNC games, and the environment outside was energetic, but never violent. There's a good amount of heckling, but that's about it.

There is nothing wrong with college kids getting drunk and having fun. But attacking people because they are wearing another team's jersey or hat? That is Eagles fan territory.

welcome to a campus that is the largest in population in the country... something else is expected? combine that with the fact that OSU vs Mich is one of the greatest NCAAF rivalries around, and you get drunken idiots. granted, drunken idiots are at every football game, but a school this large kind of helps hoard the drunken idiots together, and things happen.

but yea, it has improved vastly since then. i will experience my first OSU vs Mich game later this month, so I'll report back. ;)

Classless doesn't even begin to describe it. No respect for their own campus, the property of others, or for other fans.

the worst case of classless heckling i've heard of was ASU's fans shouting PLO and "Where's Your Dad" to Steve Kerr after his father was killed by terrorists in Beirut

Wanna see something worse, go to a Maryland Duke basketball game a few years ago, didn't matter if Maryland won or lost, total chaos.

That wasn't pretty but not half as bad as I was expecting based on the title of the article ... it does leave me wondering what else was happening away from the camera though.
