what's the difference between the chd500 and the chd1000?
also, does the company have a website of any sort? I can't seem to find one

I'm thinking of getting one of these because I used to have an edigital treo10 that I was very very pleased with but it started crapping out and the classic is virtually identical except it can also record

Stay away. Their stuff is total crap. I bought a Classic MP3 CD player a few years ago - it died after about a week.

I would also advice you to stay away from this mp3 player. Their firmware is old and crappy and I also bought one and after a week or so it died. One of the worst things about this mp3 player is that their indexing process sucks if you transfer more than 40 songs at a time from your pc, the mp3 player won't read any song. Besides, they are also big and heavy.

their website btw is:

emiglobal ?

ok, just my 2 cents. :)
