Thanks for the heads up. I'm still rockin' Windows 8.1 and version CS version 4.2.1 so I'll give this update a try in a few days.

I don't see anything wrong with the default Win10 start menu. I'm sure these start menu replacement companies are going to see their revenue plummet.

Thank God for Classic Shell. I could not use Windows with out it. Still rocking the Win2000 style Classic single column menu and loving it.

start10 from stardock wile not free releases tomorrow IIRC
it can make it look just like 7 (not flat)

Ditto. Classic Shell and later such proggies received more attention with Windows 8, but the cool kids were using it with Windows 7 more than five years ago.

Pro-tip: taskbar on the right side is most ergonomic (least mousey travel, maintains useable display height, &c.) and at triple tray width can greatly expand the area for minimal-click access to most used shortcuts. In this example the second toolbar is a collapsed folder named "System" but even uncollapsed can effectively double the width for buttons.

I actually like the Vista/7 start menu style. if it's not pinned to the task bar the recents list probably has it. If not then the time I spent organizing the start menu pays off... programs are filed under categories (games, Utilities, Media Programs, etc.)
