They get my vote for most overrated classic rock band ever. They're good but not what people elevate them too. I feel pretty much the same way about Led Zeppelin though.

I guess we'll agree to disagree on pink floyd. It is one of those bands that makes you want to turn it up really loud, and just close your eyes.

Zeppelin is not overrate in the least bit. But, maybe thats just because I play guitar. Anyways, I agree stairway to heaven sucks, but I thought the rolling stone's satisfaction got the number one spot...oh well..Maybe Zeppelin is overplayed by classic rock stations but in my mind they are great classic rock and IMO the best hard rock band of all time. Pink Floyd...depends on your taste, but I don't think they are overrated...and if they are they deserve the credit.
