I just read in Game Now mag that Klonoa for the original PS is considered a collectors item, worth around 30+ to collectors. It was a really good platform game also!!!

In other words, yes, it was worth it to me...

It's this cute little guy whose ears rotate like 'copter blades so he can fly. It is a platform game so he just travels to complete various quests. It is really well done. Klonoa 2 has been released to PS2. I would link to a review....but I am at work and the word "game" is blocked on our filtering software!!!

That sucks!

What if you were doing research on game theory?

Had it, sold it on ebay, got burned for $130....lesson learned very quickly.

Classic games on the PS? Plenty of them...but one that sticks out in memory, that completely engulfed me the first night I brought my PS home, and was the game that sold me on the system:

Ridge Racer!! :D

Ridge Racer has such completely tight controls....you could execute near perfect slides while going around some heavy curves!!!

Yes, Wipeout......I can still remember the sound of laying mines on the track behind you!!!

Did anyone like Wild 9? It had some really cool concepts in it....throwing the bad guys into spinning blades while tethered to a tractor beam was way cool!!! Bashing them on the ground was fun also!!!

Haha, probably gonna buy Resident Evil, Resident Evil 2, and Resident Evil 3: Nemesis (or just one of the three), Colony Wars: Red Sun, and probably borrow FFVII, FFVIII, and Soul Reaver: Legacy of Kain from a friend.

final fantasy 8 and tactics both blew chunks. FF7 and 9, GT, and MGS were some of the really good games. i liked 9 the best.

FF7 was awesome, I remember playing that for hours... MGS was fun.

Couldn't really get into FFVIII, as hard as I tried. Never played Tactics.
