Another day where the teacher is talking about the basic parts of a computer *yawn*. so i just thought that i would come onto AT and complain about how 300+ level classes that start the semester with walking students through the UTTER basics of a computer. i mean there are requirements for getting into this class, such as prior hardware knowlege. and if the prof has to start out at, "this is ram, here is what it does" its just bull****. i mean, i entered this class wanted to learn new things, but even on the sylabis (sp?) it seems its going to be boring...it sucks that i cant test out this class, because i know i could, so i have to sit here, waste 3 hours a week, and about 600 bucks just to get credit for this class.
 
I feel your pain. Most computer professors don't know the first thing about actual computer hardware.... It's sad.
