I'm going to college after an eight year hiatus and was wondering which would be easier on my brain. I'm sure that they are very similar as far as testing goes but Am His seems like it would be more detailed as it is more specific. Anyone take either or both? I'll be taking either one on saturday because I work full time and can only get my other class during the week. Thanks...Matt

I took the same AM class and got by pretty easily. History was never my strong point and the class was Thurday night (read drinking night) from 6-8:30. My roommate and I would run back to the dorms at our 15 minute break time and grab a quick beer.....I wonder why we never made it back half the time??? Still ended up with a B in the course.

world history is fascinating but more stuff to learn.
am is more nitty gritty detail but less random stuff to learn.

why not take the opportunity to learn about the rest of the world?

Go for Western Civ. So much more interesting and you'll be able to see where our current civ came from.
