crumbling cookie via Nature
As a biscuit cools, moisture diffuses from its centre to its edges, say Qasim Saleem, of Loughborough University, and colleagues. The shrinking centre and expanding edges create a build-up of stress that can lace a cracker with tiny cracks. The problem is worst in low-fat, low-sugar biscuits.

Is this the infamous micromanager at work? Or did the manager find out about his (lack of) integrity and morality?

Read the article . . . the grassroots advocate believes the Washington insiders are taking over the campaign.

Doesnt help matters when it appears Clark has violated Federal Election Law, on possibly more than one occassion.

Well Mr. Wesley Clark is an honest man, he just stepped in to the presidential race with no political experience at all and his campaign was hastily put together during the past few weeks. Give the guy a break. ;) Don't start mudslinging until he gets the nomination.

Another article.............

snippet........."WASHINGTON (CNN) -- With former Clinton operatives taking over day-to-day control of the campaign, Donnie Fowler resigned Tuesday night as campaign manager for Democratic presidential candidate Wesley Clark.

Two men who helped run Bill Clinton's successful 1992 race for president -- Eli Segal of Boston, the first CEO of the Corporation for National Service, and former Cabinet secretary Mickey Kantor of Los Angeles -- had begun running the campaign on a day-to-day basis along with former Ambassador Richard Sklar of San Francisco over the past week."

Hee......there is no such thing as a "former" Clintoon operative.

He's fair game:D Plus he hasn't even been tested yet. All the rest of the dwarves are scared to really attack him as he is a Clintoon guy and they can't piss 'ol Bubba off.

As for the Election Law stuff - What is that about digitalsm?

Questionable Speeches.............

snippet....."Brad Litchfield, who helped draft the 1992 FEC advisory opinion as head of that department, is now working for the Clark campaign."

I think the General knows how it works. ;)

Well....well...wel....

I'm sure this will all be dismissed as some right-wing conspiracy. When exactly did Clark officially enter the race? Sept23 sounds the worst for him. Handing out "draft Clark" signs? Hmm.... Hey luny - Can you pass me one of Moonbeam's ducks? :D

Donnie Fowler, 35, told associates he was leaving over widespread concerns that supporters who used the Internet to draft Clark into the race are not being taken seriously by top campaign officials

if any of you believe this drivel, your hopeless.

he didn't quit....he was kicked out by the Clintons!

"The manager, Donnie Fowler, stepped down a week after Eli Segal, a former aide to President Bill Clinton, arrived at General Clark's headquarters in Little Rock, Ark., to take charge of the campaign. Aides to the general said Mr. Segal's arrival could have been the source of friction with Mr. Fowler.

A campaign spokeswoman, Kym Spell, declined to elaborate about the resignation, and Mr. Fowler did not respond to phone calls.

In addition to Mr. Segal, other former aides to Mr. Clinton have emerged in recent weeks as prominent figures within the Clark campaign. They include Ron Klain, a policy adviser; Mark Fabiani, a communications adviser; and Mickey Kantor and Bruce Lindsey, who are also regarded as part of General Clark's inner circle of counselors"

this is from the New York Times, so don't start accusing me of always bringing up the Clinton's.

Clark is a puppet. It would'nt surprise me if he names Hillary as his VP if he gets the demo nomination (which the Clinton's desperately do not want HD to get). If Clark runs as pres, and loses, this gives Hillary exposure, and an excuse for not winning (clarks fault). If clark wins (haha) then she's in line to take over after clark.

lets see what happens....

Go ahead and take your shots guys :D

All politicians are fair game. That's the nature of things.

While I would like to see more debate on issues, that is my preference. Others obviously feel different, so go for it ;)

As soon as Hillary tells Clark what his stance on the issues are.....he will then actually stae his/her positions......then we can debate.

For now we will just have to watch the show.
