is she crazy or what. didnt she just get busted for teabagging a few weeks ago as well? the way i see it anita hill doesnt owe him an apology as much as a "thank you" for making her rich and famous. clarence thomas is probably the least worthy person to ever be nominated to the supreme court and a disgusting person, but she put hairs from her private area on his coke and if she did that these days she would probably be charged with some sort of crime. this country has no use for either one of them.

Wow, the gall. I like her response:

Charles Radin, the Brandeis director of news and communications, said Hill received the voicemail message and turned it over to the campus Department of Public Safety, which then turned it over to the FBI.

"I certainly thought the call was inappropriate," Hill said in a statement to CNN issued by Brandeis. "I have no intention of apologizing because I testified truthfully about my experience and I stand by that testimony."

HER apologize? When is he going to apologize to the nation for his harm?

Another weak attempt to diffuse criticism on her borderline unethical behavior. Now she can play off any future criticism as the left being out to get her...

I think people are mis-remembering the testimony, which was by Hill, about Thomas:

He spoke about acts that he had seen in pornographic films involving such matters as women having sex with animals and films showing group sex or rape scenes....On several occasions, Thomas told me graphically of his own sexual prowess....Thomas was drinking a Coke in his office, he got up from the table at which we were working, went over to his desk to get the Coke, looked at the can and asked, "Who has put pubic hair on my Coke?"

I hardly think Hill would have told Congress about this incident if she had placed a pubic hairs on Thomas' coke can. The testimony is so bizarre that it almost has to be true: who could even dream up such a story? It sounds plausible to me that Thomas had the hots for Hill, and was trying to stir the sexual pot.

if there are two people in the room and thomas has no reason to do that to himself who does that leave??? she is sicker than he is and should have been fired on the spot. also he is into white chix, which shoots down your last theory

Clarence Thomas clearly was a liar. One of his most quoted statements, referring to his ordeal at the confirmation hearings, was:

I would have preferred an assassin's bullet to this kind of living hell.

That statement was false on its face. Do we REALLY believe Thomas would have preferred a bullet to the head rather than go through a political process?

Thomas' nomination was a disgrace, and his performance on the Supreme Court has been a disgrace.

Are you this dense? Nobody "did that" to Thomas. There WAS no pubic hair on the coke can. There was probably no hair at all. He was talking dirty, trying to engage Hill sexually.

I hardly think a woman who has actually been sexually harassed spends the next decade calling him repeatedly. I do think a woman who spent a decade trying to sleep her way into a good job - and failing - would invent testimony if offered potential rewards. Hell, maybe just to punish him for not recognizing her brilliance.

And have you SEEN Hill? Drunken bonobos hopped up on Viagra and poppers wouldn't have the hots for her.

Enough of this talk about Tea Party members, their drug habits, and their sexual preferences, it's not relevant here and frankly disturbing.

Back when Thomas was doing his pubic-coke-can thing, Hill was pretty darned foxy.

I can't speak for cross-species attraction involving bonobos, but I'd certainly have tapped that. And as for Thomas' sexual attractions:

Let's just say Hill was waaaay out of his league.

Heh. I'm all in favor of drunk dialing by the wives of supreme court justices...

She was probably just drunk on God, Tea Party rhetoric, and self righteous denial... one of those combination High kinda things...

I would guess there is something going on between Thomas and his wife, that his wife is having issues dealing with. This seems a distraction from harsh realities in the Thomas marriage. His wife is having issues. She may have figured out old Tommy...
Reminds me of those women that insist on dating convicts, then side with them believing they were the victim.
But then as screwed up as Thomas is, his wife has to be a pretty messed up pickle too.

Maybe she's finally realizing that what Hill was saying is true, but can't accept it, so she wants Hill to tell her it's not true.

Because we now understand the quality of woman that Thomas was capable of attracting and marrying. Which in turn allows us to guess at the mindset of Thomas when he contemplated his underling, the babalicious Anita. Thomas was probably creaming in his pants whenever she walked by, and fantasized about her pubic hairs lying in every nook and cranny. "Oh, bay-BEE, let me fill your nooks and crannies."

There is an attitude taken by judges that extends to their spouse and family. They must conduct themselves with a certain decorum because of the nature of their profession. They are often involved in criminal proceedings that could place them and their family in danger if they were to cross paths with someone who had an issue with a judgment handed down in their courtrooms.

Mrs. Thomas is thinking that her position affords her the platform to play out her silly-assed revenge games, but she is wrong.

She's not "thinking"- she's *feeling*, feeling entitled, something that often passes for actual thought on the Right...
