Clancy's back!

the quality of his books has gone down recently, i think. the bear and the dragon was entertaining, though.

Cool.... how do you know this is going to be the next movie. I can't WAIT for them to get to Rainbow Six (although it'll probably be like 2020)

Thats what happens to most succesful authors. They kill themselves on research and they tax their writing ability on the first few books, then they relax. Once they're famous authors they got it made already. However, in Clancy's case, I dont think the quality nosedived too bad, at least not as bad as other authors.

Interesting . . . a "prequel". This one will apparently be the next movie, esp. with the success of Sum of All Fears.
Damn it, I was hoping they were about done with the Ryan movies, I want to see Rainbow Six as a movie. I heard somewhere that there is talk of finishing up the Ryan movies, then going to Clark movies, and possibly starting with Without Remorse. That'd be a pretty dark film though, I think Rainbow Six would be much better.
