Clam Chowder

I've never actually tried the manhattan...campbells chunky NE is just too damned good to waste a can on something different
 
Being from MA, I'd have to go with NE clam chowder. Had some chowder in SF when I took a trip there and it was odd...they added celery and spices and the broth was thinner

campbells is nasty. the best chowder i've had is from legal seafood

best clam chowder I had was in Cape Cod... but chowder at fisherman's wharf in a sour dough bread was good as well... 🙂
 
As long as it's fresh, they're both delicious. New England is just too heavy sometimes, while Manhatten can sometimes be too salty. Good stuff all around though.

but that what makes it good... mmmm loads of butter/cream in NE....

I wonder why they made manhattan red and NE white...

omg, are you talking about the place at the warf the looks like a little lighthouse, i think its called boudines or something? :thumbsup:

also... i never eat seafood unless im cost to at coast line... i wouldnt be caught dead eating seafood in oklahoma

edit: and new england owns manhattan
 
i'm from the midwest, so forgive me if i mispronounce

i'm ashamed that i ate no seafood during my 18 hours in norfolk this summer
