Odd that the primary supporter of Bush is also the prime supporter on these boards of how we installed Pinochet. I guess its not the dictator, but who puts him in power or supports his agenda that matters most. If he is our ruthless dictator, it's ok. Just like Pinochet was, and just like Saddam was, and make no mistake, Saddam was exactly the same warm and fuzzy guy as today as when we embraced him. Fact is that the US likes oppressive dictators when it is in our interest. When it no longer suits us, we claim the moral highground for his removal, or construct a threat, then claim "liberation". We knew exactly what Saddam was when Rummy shook hid hand.

If you decide to run the world, at least be more honest about it.
