CL9 vs CL8 ddr3 1600

any thoughts? the cl9 is cheaper, but is it worth the performance loss if I'm planning to oc an i7 920?

Check out Denithor's post in the sticky at the top of this forum: -There's virtually no impact on system performance from memory speeds/timings and almost no difference between dual and triple channel mode.

Looks like memory speeds/timings with i7 aren't as important as previous platforms. It sure is hard making that adjustment in thinking.

yeah, i can get the Gskill CL9 for $120 now, and the OCZ CL8 for $124 AR on the egg...
