Civilization 5 slow turns.

Does anyone know of good mods/patches that makes turns faster?

I'm used to Civ 4, where every turn just gos booom.

Have you tried switching the game mode to fast? I know either way it's notoriously slow, so eventually just start manually selecting units and moving them, it seems to let you do that which allows you to move/fire one before the previous has finished.

You think so?, I mean, i'm now on turn 250, and I feel like most of the time, i'm just waiting for the computer to move.

yeah this was one of my biggest peeves of civ 5. havent played the exp yet, i do hope they improved that

stacks of doom ruin it, imo. it's a pretty stellar game though.

turn off viewing enemy turns / ones you can not see always helped my games (in all civs).

But long terms hopefully means the AI is doing something smart.
