this is strangely compelling!

does anyone know of other all-AI games? i dig robocup, and wouldn't mind checking out all-bot leagues for games like hearthstone or something.

Yeah, they have been following the progress of the game, they had to remove Osaka from the game.

It's a testament to the shittiness of Civ V that even without human players and network issues it eats its own savefiles.
A worse product (after years of patches) was rarely released.
