Theres nothing in capitalism that prevents you from feeding the lazy or unwilling. Go right ahead, that's the whole "Freedom" thing. Get it?

And in a constitutional democratic republic nothing prevents us from taxing the shit out of the capitalists and using the money to feed the folks exploited by the capitalists. We have that freedom. Get it? We also have the freedom to rein in the abuses heaped on the public by the capitalists (that's internalizing externalities for the econ geeks). That's another freedom afforded us in a constitutional democratic republic.

Now back to the civics lesson. Where does it say anywhere in the US Constitution that free market capitalism shall be the economic system under which the nation shall function?

Because its impossible for socialism and democracy to co exist. Every socialist country in the history of the world has ended up as a dictatorship. This is history.

You also base a lot of your economic beliefs on falsehoods, for exaple, wealth is not static. This is fact. Your beliefs about capitalism require it to be. If wealth WERE static, humans would be stuck as hunters/gatherers, spending 100% of our labor on survival.

Start with the basics before you try to make handle the big stuff there kiddo.

The western Europeans are snickering at you. Yep, even the French.

The rest? The rest of your post contained no actual content which required any type of response.

So your happy basing your beliefs on falsehoods?

You think there is a fixed sum of wealth? (this is an easy one!)

You really think socialism and freedom can co exist? (Socialism by its very definition requires taking peoples freedoms away)

100%. Feel free to fellate me anytime. I'll be here.

It's pretty laughable that people still think there is a fixed sum of wealth. Maybe if you live in the Sahara with a bucket over your head and your anus is filled with sand, but even in most areas of Africa, new wealth is being created. Not as rapidly as say the United States, but it still is happening.

The generally accepted pattern is to set up your strawman before you knock it down. When you simple strew straw on the ground and jump up and down on it while beating your chest and grunting, no one has a clue what you are carrying on about.

Don't read the newspaper, so there we go.

I wasn't sure if it was specifically stated in those words or not. >_>

You're not a very good feminist. Or are you the type who want to end women's suffering?

C'mon your not even going to attempt to swing at a couple of easy ones I threw out there for you?

Just give me a yes or no answer, how hard is that?

Is wealth static?

Yes or no.

That is why you'll never get a girl friend:

1) You're weak

2) You're pretentious

3) You're duller than a rock in the sun

Physically, but that's about it.

I am quite important, and I just happen to know it.

Now, I am no highly-technical savant, but I would think that if you put a rock in the sun it would surely glow quite bright. So bright in fact that it would be hard to look at if at all you could. Now, it's hard to compete with such brilliance, but I happen to think I am quite lustrous.

Seriously, if you live in the US and you never heard of or can't comprehend "freedom of religion", you must be __________
*sigh* I'll just leave it to everyone else to fill in the blank.

Western European nations aren't socialist by any stretch of the imagination.

With the exception of Sweden, which is about receive an incredibly nasty shock. It's funny how most governments, (including the U.S.) went left (in terms of approaching a more authoritarian approach to governing and handling the economy) the Swedes actually voted in more right leaning politicians.

This is because the Swedes are finding out that Socialism does not work in a changing world. In that sense, socialists and advocates of socialism are the conservatives! (oh the irony).

With that in mind, I would like to nominate my fellow ATOT compatriot and humorist, IronWing, as AT's number one conservative!

It's funny because even as you try to refute my assertions, your refutation mutates into a complete affirmation of my claims.

Oh to be a happy delusional. Must be nice.

Here's what it says on the question:

6) The Bill of Rights explicitly prohibits: A. prayer in public school B. discrimination based on race, sex, or religion C. the ownership of guns by private individuals D. establishing an official religion for the United States E. the president from vetoing a line item in a spending bill
Now, the answer is D. And here is the bill of rights: "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances." So it is in that first sentence BUT I couldn't remember EXACTLY if it said that OR just said Freedom of Religion...(Freedom of Religion =/= No established official religion for the country. Instead it can mean you can express whatever religion you want but we're gonna be a [insert religion] nation in general) That's why I said, I CAN'T REMEMBER EVERYTHING TO THE LETTER. I wasn't SURE. So I just went with E because I couldn't recall. I figured you had to veto a whole spending bill instead of just a line item. Wasn't sure... :/

Wikifuckingpedia: "In a country with a state religion, freedom of religion is generally considered to mean that the government permits religious practices of other sects besides the state religion, and does not persecute believers in other faiths."

It's about as Socialist as a Socialist nation will ever get. Perhaps you'd care to define your terms?

A socialist nation is a nation where the government controls the means of production and private competition is prohibited.

See: Cuba, North Korea, Vietnam, China (kinda), etc.
