Silly ricers.

Since when is 660 hp rice?

Since it's coming out of a 2 liter engine from the continent of electronics.

If you want a drag car, get an American muscle car.
If you want a luxury car, get a European car.
If you want a cheap means of conveance, get an Asian car.

TVs come from Japan, cars come from Europe, get it right.

now that is going off on a bad tangent there....and your definition of a dragster as an AMERICAN muscle car is well...sad.

Either way, the machine might be cool and all, but for practical and exibitionist purposes it is a POS.

Form can outwigh function
function can outway form.
Both Form an function are ideal.

For example, if it was a stable chassis(one that does shake like an old womans hip) and was donw up, my opinion would be different.

I understand the "sleeper" element, but I see a clear distinction between a sleeper than can pull of the "beater look" and one that can pull the "scorching supermodel that can benchpress 360lbs look"

0-60 in 2.43s Tell me again that America isn't king of dragsters. Show me a Japanese car that's faster. Can your beloved AWD skyline touch it?

Would you race this, Lightning-boy?

- M4H

Ready to get pwned? Those are the stock speeds in the owners manuals for both cars. 😛

If they can gun it, let's see you run it.

Or will Mommy not let you drive past sundown?

- M4H

What does that even mean? Gun it? What?

And to be honest, I don't even know where the track is. I've heard people talk about it... heh. I think it's in McKinney.

Why would I need to run stock times? To prove my car isn't put together wrong?

Because most cars can't run the stock 1/4 mile times the factory states - and if you'd ever started from anything more aggressive than the usual roll, you'd know that. Bottom line - I call BS on your ability to run the times you're claiming. 😛

Fixed

And fixed

You know they both are automatics, right? The only hard thing about the Lighting is getting it moving without spinning too much. I think I could probably run the stock times, especially seeing as how most other lightning owners say that Ford puts out underrated performance numbers.

BTW, I'm basically incapable of driving a standard, and know exactly dick about cars. I like fast ones that aren't ricey. 😛

You are right, but that is not what I meant. I meant that ....nevermind..it wasn;t that important anyway. That viper is sick though.

Wait a second, is that a minivan?

Yes, yes it is. 😀

- M4H

I'll write Odessey on my leg.

Go you! 😀

That was a carryover from the truck drifting thread, in case you missed it.
