Civic beats a Ferrari!!!

i saw this on a driving video just for fun in our driver's ed class, the civic is all tripped out, they freaking hacked into the circuits and stuff, added all this weird ass hardware, but none the less, it still beat that ferrari 😉
 
That has got to be BS, how the hell could any Civic under any circumstances beat a Ferarri? Maybe the Ferarri driver was on crack. 😉

If it's a 1/4 mile (I can't view the clip) it's no surprise the ferrarri got kilt. 😉 They're made for speed, not quickness.
 
It appeared to me that they took off with the Civic slightly in front and it stayed about the same. That would mean they both run about the same, only the Civic driver got the jump.
I'll bet the Civic driver didn't want to keep on going faster to see who would end up winning.

BTW, whoever was driving the Ferrari was definitely a novice.
 
you guys are just looking at the visuals, you have to get some information before you can call that Ferrari drive a novice.
 
Alf, I'm assuming people with experience in this sort of thing can tell, since I can think of a few ways. Think about it really hard, but don't hurt yourself 😀
 
I got it to work using real player, man who ever drove the ferrari did suck, but you never could tell who really one. 🙁
 
Street Racing and the civic got the hole-shot. Caught the Ferrari driver sleeping. Other then that, it was a pretty even race (but it was hard to tell from the b/w realplayer movie)
 
I've seen about 100 stock Mustangs beat stock Civic's all the time - even the ones with VTECs.

Hondas aren't made to fast. That's why little kids have to modify them so much.

Now, take a tricked out Honda and put it against a mclaren f1. Not even a contest.

Who told you that rubbish? Ferrari's will eat you alive in acceleration. All current Ferrari's jump from 0-60 in under 5 seconds. Even the AUTOMATIC equipped 456 GTA does the deed in 4.9 seconds.

0-60---1/4 mile
F360 Modena: 3.9 sec -- 12.2 sec @ 113.5 MPH
550 Maranello: 4.2 sec -- 12.5 sec @ 104.7 MPH
456 GTA: 4.9 sec -- 13.3 sec @ 105.2 MPH

I don't have the times for the F50 on hand but I remember it ripping 0-60 times in 3.7 to 3.8 seconds.

For comparison:

Corvette Z06: 4.5 secs -- 12.8 secs @ 113.6 MPH
 
bet the ferrari driver was hired...no way in hell that could had happened, under normal circumstances...
 
Seeing that this was an F355 in the video, it performs as such:

4.6 secs -- 13.0 sec @ 109.7 MPH
 
Actually that Honda looks like one I saw on TV once. It was a show about street racing in Toronto, Canada. Its no ordinary Honda. If you look at some of the import drag racing websites some of the times those guys can run will scare the daylights out of yea.
